Early Intervention
How does a child qualify to receive Early Intervention services through the Regional Center?
Early Intervention is a system of services that helps babies and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. We may focus on the child alone or on the child and the family together.
- Children eligible for Early Intervention must be experiencing developmental delays in one or more areas of development
- Children may also be eligible due to diagnosed physical or mental conditions (ex: Cerebral Palsy or Down Syndrome) or certain family circumstances that put them at risk or having substantial delays
