L.E.A.P. For Infants, Inc.
Learning Experiences and Alternative Programs for Infants Inc., also known as L.E.A.P. for infants was opened by Directors Eduardo and Andrea Lemus in 2005. Our bilingual specialists are trained to provide the best possible cross-cultural support and assistance. Our home-based Early Intervention services are designed for children under 3 years of age.
The LEAP center-based *Inclusive program uses a team approach in structured 3-hour classes.
Our teachers implement activities which overall developmental progress according to basic principles of consumer growth and development
Experience/Services
- Services to children (0-5 years old)
- 16 years + Experience in CD and Parent coach/educators
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Experience with Medically fragile children Floor time
- Developmental evaluations
In-Home Early Intervention Services
- One-hour sessions as per services authorized by the regional center that take place within the child’s natural environment
- Focus on all developmental domains and family dynamic
- Collaborative work alongside parents to reach pre-arranged goals and objectives based on specific needs of the child and family
- Provide ideas, techniques, and strategies that are to be implemented by the family on a day-to-day basis
- Hybrid services optional
Developmental Evaluations
- Bilingual Child Development Specialist provide the one-time service within child’s natural environment.
- L.E.A.P. for infants offices are open and available for evaluations if requested by families.
- Hybrid services optional
Parent Guidance
- Model/guide on how to play with the child to promote optimal development progress
- Introduce and reinforce social-emotional development in the household
- Encourage secure parent-child relationship which promotes optimal developmental progress
- Access community resources to assist with family’s overall wellbeing.
- Prepare for LAUSD
