LEAP Center-Based Program, Inc.
Baby and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities can benefit from early intervention treatments. Either the child or the family may be the subject of our attention.
A group-based, family-centered early intervention system which is :
- The program consists of two classes, mornings and afternoons, Monday through Friday
- Consumers can attend 1-5 sessions per week
- Daily class is 3 hours, with centers focusing on all areas of development with parents and teachers
- Our three hour class follows a routine specifically designed to target all areas of development each center at a time.

Parent Involvement
Implementing strategies and techniques provided by teachers to encourage positive learning experiences for the children
The centers consisting of 15 minutes each are as follows after our welcoming Circle Time:
- Learning Center
Children learn to follow instructions, Language is encouraged, learn turn taking, patience, and expand engagement and attention span.
- Art Center
Art is an important part of childhood development. The art center helps with the development of all sorts of skills including creativity, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and sensory integration.
- Dramatic Play
Social interaction, language development, use of symbols, imitation, sort out fantasy and reality,
- Language Room
Parent and child interaction, parent/caregivers learn the Do’s and Dont’s of play, language is encourage with all toys, and children teach their parents as well.
- Spectroom (Gross Motor/Sensorial))
- Our senses give us the information we need to function in the world.
- As a child at play learns to reach, crawl, walk, run, climb, jump, throw, catch and balance, gross motor skills are developed and maintained, leading to healthier and stronger bodies.
- Self-Esteem and self-confidence will increase when children are able to accomplish goals set out by our teachers.
- Play allows for a healthier, more socially acceptable way of expressing one’s feelings and opinions.
